This Privacy Policy explains how Adspoty collects, uses, shares and protects your information when you use our website, apps and services. If you don't agree with it, please don't use the service.

Information we collect

• Account information: your name, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash) and, if you choose to provide it, your phone number, photo, bio and business details.
• Listing information: everything you publish — photos, videos, descriptions, prices, locations and the custom attributes you fill in.
• Transaction information: orders, offers, credit purchases, promotion purchases, payouts and refunds. Payment card data is processed by Stripe and never stored on Adspoty's servers.
• Activity information: searches, saved items, listings viewed, messages, reviews and other interactions with the platform.
• Device and usage information: IP address, browser type, device type, and analytics events that help us understand how features are used.

How we use your information

• Operating the marketplace: showing listings, routing messages, processing orders and payments
• Trust & safety: verification, fraud and scam detection, moderation, abuse reports
• Member support and dispute resolution
• Notifications you've asked for: saved-search alerts, offer updates, expiring-promotion reminders
• Improving the product: analytics, feature planning, performance monitoring
• Marketing about Adspoty features — only where you haven't opted out, and unsubscribing is always one click

Legal bases (for EU/UK members): we process your data to perform our contract with you (operating your account and listings), where we have a legitimate interest (safety, analytics, fraud prevention), where you've consented (optional notifications), and where the law requires it.

Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and the platform secure, and analytics tools to understand usage. You can control or clear cookies through your browser at any time; the platform keeps working without optional analytics, and essential cookies can't be disabled without breaking sign-in.

How we share information

• Service providers: hosting, payment processing (Stripe), email delivery and analytics vendors — bound by contract to use your data only on our instructions.
• Other members: information that's naturally visible to others — your public profile, listings, storefront, reviews and the username and email you choose to expose in a transaction.
• Law and safety: where disclosure is required by law, subpoena or to protect the rights, property or safety of members or the public.
• Business transfers: if Adspoty is involved in a merger or acquisition, data may be transferred under this policy's protections.

We never sell your personal information.

Data retention

Account data is kept while your account is active. Listings stay available while published and for a period after to support disputes, analytics and legal compliance. Transaction records are retained as required by tax and accounting law — typically several years. When you delete your account, we remove or anonymize personal data that no longer serves a legal or safety purpose.

Security

We protect data with encryption in transit, access controls, audit logs and role-based permissions on internal tools. No system is perfectly secure, but we design for least-privilege access, monitor for abuse, and act quickly on any incident affecting member data.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights including:

• Access — get a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction — fix inaccurate information
• Deletion — ask us to delete your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Portability — receive your data in a portable format
• Objection & opt-out — object to certain processing or opt out of marketing at any time
• Non-discrimination — exercising privacy rights never degrades your service

US state privacy laws (such as the California Consumer Privacy Act) and the EU/UK GDPR give many members these rights. To exercise any of them, email support@adspoty.com from your account address; we respond within the timeframes the applicable law requires.

Children

Adspoty isn't for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect data from children; if we learn we have, we delete it.

International transfers

We operate in the United States. If you use Adspoty from another country, your data is transferred to and processed in the US, and we apply appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) where required.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy; the effective date above will change and material updates will be announced on the platform. We encourage you to review it periodically.
